Presents at Christmas are not all about how much money was spend on the
inside, how big they are, or what they look like on the out side. It is all about the thought that the person or persons put
into the gift that matters. Someone could put a lot of time and thought into a gift that they give to you and
work really long on, not because they want you to like them better, but because of how that person is towards other people,
kind. That is a lot like Jesus and how he was. He never judged a person on how much money they had or could spend, or on how
they looked or dressed. Jesus always treated people on how he thought they could act and how they could act towards him. He
never thought that a person loved him more than another person because of what they gave him, Jesus treated
people on how much love they put in his path and never on how much stuff they gave him. If you treat someone nicely, not because
of how he or she look or how much money they have, or even if they can make you popular, then they would treat you the same
way and act the same way towards you. If you are mean to people, then they will be mean to you and act as if you aren’t
even alive. If you judge people on how they look or act on the outside and not get to know them, then you might pass up an
opportunity to have a great friend. They also might not be the greatest but you would never know because you just didn’t
take the time to get to know them. So remember, its not what’s on the outside that counts, but the thought and love
on the inside that does.
